It was summer and it got hotter and hotter. The sun shined brightly in the sky. The leaves hung lifeless in the trees. Biff and Chip were outside and had ice creams. “What a nice day! I love it!” said Biff, “We can have ice creams in summer.” “Yes,” answered Chip, “but it’s too hot.”
Chip had an idea. He wanted to go to the woods. “There are lots of trees in the woods and it must be much cooler,” he said. “Brilliant!” said Biff, “But I think the jungle is more exciting. I want to go to the jungle.” “But where can we find a jungle?” asked Chip.
Just then, Kipper ran to them with the magic key. “Hey! The key is glowing!” he called. “Maybe the key will take us to a jungle!” Biff was very excited. The children rushed into Biff’s room and the magic key took them to an adventure. “Oh, help!” cried Kipper, “Where are we going?” “Ha!” shouted Biff and Chip, “We are going to a jungle!”
The magic key did take them to a jungle with dense trees, fragrant flowers, and various animals everywhere. “It’s amazing! What a beautiful jungle!” exclaimed Biff. Biff had an idea. “Let’s play a digging game!”
The children picked up some sticks and began to dig. The soil was wet and loose, so they dug a very big hole soon. Chip jumped into the hole, but to his surprise, he began to sink. “Help!” he yelled, “I’m sinking!” Biff got a long branch. “Hold it!” shouted Biff. But it was just a bit out of Chip’s reach. Suddenly, Chip stopped sinking and landed on a rock with both feet. Then Chip grabbed the branch. Biff and Kipper pulled him out. “They dug the rock out with the sticks. That’s a very strange rock,” said Kipper. “Yes! It looks colorful and it saved me. Let’s keep it,” said Chip.
They went to the waterfall to wash the rock, where they saw some crocodiles. The children were so scared that they tried to run away. Just then, they heard all the birds singing together. They gasped. They were so charmed by the singing that they could hardly move. The crocodiles came closer and closer. Just in time, the magic key began to glow and took them home.
Biff still had the rock from the adventure, but now it was as small as her palm. She took the stone to Mum. Mum said it was a rare and valuable stone. All the children were very happy. What an exciting adventure!

One day, Floppy was at the library. Floppy went to sleep and he began to dream. He dreamed about spaceship.
A spaceship landed. "Wow!" said Kipper. "A real spaceship!" A white dog looked at Floppy. An alien came out. "I am Zig," he said. "And this is my dog, Zog." Floppy looked at Zog. He liked Zog.
"Hello Zog!" said Floppy.
"Let's go into space," said Zig.
"Oh yes!" said Kipper.
"Oh no!" said Floppy. They went into the spaceship. Kipper was happy. Whoosh! The spaceship took off. It flew up into space. Floppy was afraid. He barked and barked.
"What's that?" said Kipper.
"Oh no!" said Zig. "Fireballs!"
Floppy looked at the fireballs. Zig was unhappy. Whoosh! Suddenly，there were fireballs all around them.
"Help!" said Zog.
"What can we do?" said Kipper.
"The fireballs fly fast!"
"I don't know," said Zig.
Crash! A fireball hit them. The spaceship began to spin round. Everyone spin round too. Floppy was afraid again. Zig and Kipper bumped heads.
"Oh my head!" said Kipper.
"Oh my head!" said Zig. Zig and Kipper's heads were hurt. Zig felt sick. Floppy saw a very big fireball. It was going to hit them. Zig and Kipper could not see the fireball. Floppy wanted to take off the fireball.

So Floppy would fly the spaceship. Zog looked at Floppy. Zoom! Floppy flew the spaceship out of danger.
"Phew! Just in time," he said.
Kipper and Zog were happy.
"The fireballs can't hit us!" said Zog. They went back to the earth.
"Well done, Space Dog Floppy." said Zig. "You saved us!"
"Floppy can fly the spaceship, why can't I?" thought Zog. Zog was unhappy.
The Spaceship (To be continued)
"It's time to go!" said Kipper.
"Thanks Floppy!" Floppy was very happy!
"How exciting!" he thought.
Zig and Zog went back to the spaceship. Then Zig drove the spaceship back to their Happy Fun Star. Zog barked and barked. Zig asked, "What's the matter with you, Zog?" Zog could talk with Zig. He said, "Floppy can drive the spaceship. Why can't I? Floppy is a dog. I am a dog, too."
Zig saw Zog was very sad. So he said, "Never mind! You can learn to drive the spaceship."
"Really?" said Zog. "I'll try."
"Ok! I can teach you." said Zig.
"Hooray!" said Zog.
The next day, Zig took Zog to see the spaceship. "Now, I am your teacher!" said Zig.
"It's very easy. I'm sure you can drive the spaceship next week." Then Zog began to study.
Zog studied hard.
After a week, Zog could fly the spaceship. He was very happy. "Yeah!" said Zog. He was excited.
"I said you can." said Zig happily. 'shall we go to see Kipper and Floppy?" asked Zog.
"Ok! Let's go tomorrow."
The next day, Zog drove the spaceship to the Earth. Then, they saw Kipper and Floppy.
"What a surprise to see you!" said Kipper. Zig told Kipper about Zog. Zog told Floppy about him, too.
"Ha! Zog! You can drive the spaceship, too. Well done!" said Floppy.
Go to the World Park
On 30th April, our school went to the world park. We had a spring outing in it. Just inter the gate, we saw a jungle. It looked like a maze. I liked it.
Going forward, I saw many flowers. They were very beautiful. There were red, purple, orange and pink. They smelt good. Some people looked at them. They made photos for them, too.
Next to the flowers, I saw some atom balls. Belgium made them in 1958. They were blond. They link with some sticks. They were arts. Manneken Pies made in Belgium, too. It had a story: In the 14th century, Brussels was under siege by a foreign power. The city had held its ground for some time, so the attackers conceived of a plan to place explosive charges at the city walls. A little boy named Julianske happened to be spying on them as they were preparing. He urinated on the burning fuse and thus saved the city.
We also saw other statuaries. There was Triumphal Arch, Statue of liberty, Pyramid and so on.
Then, we watched an elephants play. The elephants were hungry. We fed bananas for them.
The elephants were clever. They could walk a strait wood. They could sing songs. They could walk on their front feet. After the play, I fed the elephants. The elephants were happy.
We went outside. I bought a fan. It was pink and white and beautiful. I liked it very much.
Then, we had a picnic on some tables. It was a good picnic. We ate many foods. We share the food. The food was good, too.
At last, we went back school by bus. What a good day! I was very happy.

Jenny’s kite was yellow. My kite was pink. Then we went fishing. I got a blue fish. Jenny got a red hat. We ate an ice- cream. It was a sweet yellow ice-cream. We were hungry. Jenny said, “I am hungry. May I eat the pizza and the chicken, please?” “Yes.” I said. We ran to the pizza hut. We ate the pizza. and the chicken. They were very delicious.
We went home and played computer games. It was a happy day.
A Lazy Boy
John is ten yeas old. He is a very lazy boy. Of course, he has to go to school. But he dislikes school and he tries to do as little work as he can.
His parents are both doctors and they want John to be a doctor, too. But one day, John said to his mother, "When I finish my school, I want to be a garbage collector."
"A garbage collector?" asked his mother. "That's not a very comfortable job. Why do you say so?" "Because I'd only have to work one day a week." answers John.
"Only one day a week?" asked his mother. "What do you mean?"
"Well" answers John. "The garbage collector comes to our house to work only on Wednesday. I only see him on that day!"
The Zoo Adventure
One day, Jenny and I were sleeping. Suddenly, the magic box was glowing. I couldn’t sleep. Some noise woke me up. I saw the box was glowing. I was very surprised. “What is it?” I called. “Jenny, Jenny! Look at the box! Something is glowing!”
Jenny woke up. She took the magic box on her leg. She opened it. A key was glowing. “Aa Aa! Look at this key!” Jenny called. “It’s magic!” I called. Jenny picked up the key and the magic began. At this time, we got smaller and smaller and smaller. “Oh help!” we called. There was a magic house. The house was glowing too. We picked up the magic key. I put the key inside the lock. And the door was opened. We went into the house. “It’s a zoo!” Jenny said. We were very excited. We wanted to feed the animals. There were so many monkeys. They ate bananas, played the ball, and went on the tree. We played with the monkeys. We gave monkeys some food and water. We gave them a cuddle... We played with them every time. The monkey’s keeper called, “Time is up! Please go to another animal’s house!” We were sad.
“Look, Alice!” called Jenny “It’s the deer! They are so lovely! I like deer!” And Jenny ran fast to the deer. “Wait me, Jenny!” I yelled. The deer’s keeper gave Jenny and me some vegetables. We ran into deer’s house. We fed deer some vegetables. “Oh!” said Jenny “A deer’s leg was hurt! Let’s took the deer to animal’s hospital!” “Ok! Let’s go!” I called. The vet had a white cloth. He put the white cloth around the deer’s leg. “Ok!” the vet said. We took the deer back from the hospital. It went home. It was healthy now! The deer’s keeper was very happy. “Thank you!” he said. He gave me a deer’s toy. We laughed with the toy. “It’s very ugly!” we said. Suddenly, everyone laughed. Something was glowing now! “What is it?” asked the zoo keeper. “Oh! It’s the magic key!” Jenny said “It’s time to go home!” “See you!” said everyone.
We like the animals and the animals like us. “Oh no! See you!” The magic took us home. We fell onto the ground “Oh! My head!” Jenny and I yelled. Mum went home. “Oh my God!” called Mum. She had a headache.
